Son Chiku is a messenger working for the State of Qin.[1]
Appearance
Son Chiku is a middle-aged man wearing standard qin cavalry armor but without a helmet. He has dark hair pulled back into a bun and a small, well-groomed beard.
Personality
He gives the impression to be untrustworthy. He, however, did ride throughout the night to deliver a message.
History
Not much is known about his history, but at some point in the past he was recruited into the Ryo Fui Faction and began sending messages to the battlefield.
Story
State of Ai Arc
Son Chiku brought a message from Shou Hei Kun in Kanyou. It was so urgent that he had to swap mounts and ride throughout the night. When the letter was delivered to Ka Ryo Ten, she noticed the seal was broken. He claimed that he fell from one of the horses when it broke its leg, and the seal broke. He later begged to keep it a secret from the Shou Hei Kun, because he would get dismiss from the messengers.[1]
After Ten receives the message from Son Chiku, he hangs around and makes sure to be present when Ten read the message aloud.[1]
Abilities
Not much is known about his abilities, but he is a skilled horseman. He claims to have ridden all night without sleep, which suggests he is a man of endurance and diligence.
