Training Request is the 106th chapter of the Kingdom manga, written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara.
Summary
While Tou drives a carriage, Ou Ki tells Shin that now was the time to ask him any questions, reminding him that it was not often that people get the chance to talk to him. Shin decides to ask him how he managed to become one of Qin's Six Great Generals, surprising Ou Ki with his knowledge of it. Shin explains that Mou Bu had said something about reviving the Six Great Generals at the Royal Palace. Ou Ki agrees that it sounds like something Mou Bu would say, then firmly states that there was not a single person within Qin at the moment worthy of the name of the Six Great Generals.
Ou Ki tells Shin about the Six Great Generals, telling him that they were Generals that dedicated themselves to battle, day and night. The Six Great Generals rose so much in fame that enemies would surrender simply at their approach, and their names resounded across all of China. After that, then-King Shou had implemented the system to make it easier for them to move, in other words, the infamy of the Six Great Generals was more about the Generals than the system. He tells Shin that Mou Bu's talent as a warrior could match any of the Six Greats, but his accumulated experience was far too little, ideally experiencing a hundred battles or so before bringing up the reinstatement of the system.
Shin begins getting dizzy with excitement, his conversation with Ou Ki cementing the fact that he was a real deal in his mind. Ou Ki asks Shin if he also wishes to become a general, and if Shin wants to climb up to where he was. Memories of Shin's past with Hyou flash, and Shin tells Ou Ki that he would surpass him, and become the strongest general under the heavens, carving his name into history. Ou Ki is amused, and tells Shin that he had taken a liking to him. He tells Shin that realizing his dream would require a substantial amount of effort, effort that is equivalent to risking death. Shin declares that he is prepared, and would definitely pass any training given, but Ou Ki takes his sword and simply kicks him off the cart, having stopped near a cliff.
