Summary
The battle between Ko Chou's Elite Bodyguard Unit and the Shu Ma Clan continues. Ko Chou's unit was handpicked 100 cavalryman who undergone strict selection.
On the other side, the Shu Ma Clan numbered 200 soldiers and their individual strength was equal to the Zenou Clan. And so, Kan Ki's side proven to be superior and overpowered Ko Chou's elites. The Ko Chou soldiers who were just celebrating their victory earlier were now trapped in a horrific nightmare as their moral plummeted. Enrage at the turn of events, Zhao commander Ka Man charges Kan Ki in order to kill him. But Kan Ki easily deflects his attack then proceeds grabbed his neck, stabbing him through his stomach.
A dying Ka Man looks into Kan Ki's eyes and sees that they do not reflect true pain and that Ko Chou lost that light long ago. Kan Ki, not interest in the conversation, cuts the Zhao commander in half. The Shu Ma Clan quickly kill each one of Ko Chou soldiers. Now surrounded and alone, Kan Ki turns his attention to Ko Chou, but the Zhao Great General doesn't seem to be fazed by the situation. As the eager Shu Ma Clan surround him and prepare kill him, they comment on his strange facial piercings.
Ko Chou says Kan Ki's scheme was brilliant, but he wrapped it in poor strategy. He is surprised that Kan Ki sent so many of his own soldiers to their graves and asks how he was able to do it, even calling him a deranged mass murderer. Kan Ki however is once again not interested in the conversation and states that Ko Chou hasn't seen true pain yet, adding that Ko Chou can't keep himself together without the pain of his piercings on his face. With that said, Ko Chou comprehends that him and Kan Ki are nothing alike and puts his sword on his throat, preparing to take his life, while commenting that he'll go on first and have a drink with Rai Do.
