Kyou's True Identity is the 162nd chapter of the Kingdom manga, written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara.
Summary
The deadly duel between Ou Ki and Hou Ken continues. None of the by standers can see the attack of either of them as their attack scratches and chips away each other. Hou Ken then suddenly takes the upper hand. Because of this the Zhao army moral is rising. Chou Sou is wondering of some of Ou Ki actions. One of them is why he accepted this duel in the first place.
He then remembers the rumors from nine years ago that maybe the reason for this is the death of Kyou. One of the Zhao soldiers asks Chou Sou if it is wise to retreat the HQ as the outcome of the duel will decide the victor of the war. He responds that the situation is not that simple. Even if Hou Ken wins, if they manage to destroy the HQ that they win in the end.
However, even if Hou Ken loses and we survive we can regroup. Then Chou Sou is being notified that Qin has broken through into the rear. He responds to Sei Mei to be on his guard. The Hi Shin Unit then walks towards the front of the line where the duel is played out. Although they feel bad for the Infantry as they are watching instead of fighting. Shin then is surprised to see that Ou Ki being pushed back. Hou Ken then says to Ou Ki that the pain of the wound of nine years ago has faded away, but the injuries on his soul still continue to throb with pain.
He also says that this must be the same for him. Ou Ki responds with a sudden slash and manages to cut Hou Ken. Ou Ki then that doesn't have to worry that his wounds hasn't healed as well. Meanwhile at Kanyou, Ei Sei and Shou Bun Kun have a talk about what happened nine years ago. Shou Bun Kun says that he is sorry. If he had known that Ou Ki and Hou Ken would clash again he would have told him this earlier. He tells Ei Sei that first Kyou was a woman, and she was meant to be Ou Ki wife.
