Ri Boku's Decision is the 351st chapter of the Kingdom manga, written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara.
Summary
Shin Sei Jou, Ri Boku's deputy, asks him what the point is of prolonging the battle, as the result is obvious. Ri Boku says he is aware of what's happening and has a plan. He orders the retreat of every army and asks of Shin Sei Jou to watch out and make sure the armies retreat safely, while he goes into the rear and fulfill his responsibility. Shin Sei Jou bluntly refuses, responding that as Ri Boku is the one who initiated the Coalition Army, he should stay alive at all costs.
The problem of the Coalition Army's retreat however is how to get Hou Ken to retreat as well, as the latter is in a duel and surrounded by an incredible number of enemies. Meanwhile Hou Ken is still dueling Shin and is amazed by how he can be pushed back by someone who shouldn't be a match for him at all.
While Hou Ken is preparing his attack two mounted soldiers come and inform him that he should retreat. Hou Ken silently kills one of the soldiers and tells him not to interfere. Shin Sei Jou comes to Hou Ken's location and tells him that he should value his own life and look at the current situation, as if he stays on the battlefield, it will be the end of his path. Hou Ken climbs on his horse and tells Shin that he will allow him to live this time and remember his name as he was a worthy opponent.
Shin is angered that he can't kill Hou Ken and wants to charge into him, but due to his heavy injuries falls unconscious. The Yo Tan Wa Army realize that Hou Ken is a threat to Qin and begin to chase him, but their charge is stopped by Shin Sei Jou who is preventing Qin's forces to chase down anyone.
