Golden Wings is the 672nd chapter of the Kingdom manga.
Synopsis
With the reveal that the last seat of the Six Great Generals will remain vacant, meanwhile Heki takes a private pee break and Roku O Mi yawns during training. Back over at Kanyou, Sei states that the reason for this decision is due to not having another worthy candidate on the level of the chosen five.
Kan Ki asks what's wrong at keeping it at five and Sei replies that they need six, so that they can watch each other’s back and claim territory without pause. Kan Ki then asks Ou Sen why they don't just have seven or eight members, Ou Sen explains that it would create unrest in the lower ranks, and they would lose the edge as a whole. Shou Hei Kun adds on that the greatest weapon of the system is, in its essence, speed and since other nations will try to stall them with numbers the idea of quick decision making is crucial to surpass their recovery power.
The Qin king then announces that with the Six Great Generals they will destroy six kingdoms and conquer China. Kan Ki can't believe that a certain idiot was right, and things are getting interesting. An anxious Shou Bun Kun warns the members that it is absolutely forbidden for them to commit any sort of atrocities against the citizens and will be considered treason while nervously looking at Kan Ki and Ou Sen's direction, which amuses Kan Ki.
Tou and Yo Tan Wa then tell them that if someone were to break those rules, they will obliterate the offenders. Sei mentions how the first generation of Six Generals had undying loyalty to the late King Shou, however, he does not think that the new generation have the same level of loyalty to him but adds that they are none the less, allies and adds that before long the sixth place will be filled.
Ei Sei then calls for servants then bring the statue of a divine swallow and Sei tells the legend about the origins of Qin and how the swallow is connected to the origins of Tai Gyou - the forefather of Qin. That is why he chose a golden divine swallow with six wings to be the symbol of Six Great Generals. He gives one wing to each member of the new Six and expects them to return it once they will fulfill their duties.
