Bajio is the 39th chapter of the Kingdom manga, written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara.
Summary
With Shin still unconscious and Heki wounded, the mountain tribesmen are still in a fight with Rankai. Bajio seeing the man apes' monstrous strength, he asks everyone to step back and that he will fight him on his own. Bajio states in order to defeat him, he has to revert to the old days.
Meanwhile outside Kanyou, the remainder of Ei Sei Faction and mountain people is waiting. They starting to get worried about their people inside as they are taking a long time to defeat Sei Kyou and his army. However, the two elders say they were ordered to wait and that is what they will do. Stating they aren't worried for their people as they are the elite of their tribes. They also telling the plain people of Yo Tan Wa's strength as she was able to gather the mountain tribes under one banner on matter of a few years. Only Bajio managed to damage Yo Tan Wa's mask as nobody else could lay even a finger on her.
In a flashback, the Chouga found some death bodies and send a search party of 20 people to search for who did it. Nobody however returned. The main army set out to search those 20 men. They then came in contact with Bajio as he was eating the innards of the missing. They also mention that Bajio's original tribe was completely annihilated in an attack. The others want to join in as they don't want Bajio to take all the glory.
