The Enemy’s Main Force is the 877th chapter of the Kingdom manga, written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara.
Synopsis
The Hi Shin Unit's siege begins in earnest as they begin to latch ladders onto the walls of Kantan. Zhao soldiers rush to the walls as scrambling civilians panic or watch on with fear. From his palace walls, a naked King Yuu Boku watches as well, ignoring requests to head inside while taking in the reality of war reaching his "paradise". Enraged, Yuu Boku lashes out at his official and demands to know the location of his Great General Ri Boku but hears that his whereabouts are currently unknown.
Kyou Kai and her forces finally reach Kantan and lay eyes on it, but instead of charging in, she calls for her army to wait, sensing something amiss. At the Gaku Ka Army's battlefront, Mou Ten feels the same suspicion, after learning that their armies were faring surprisingly well despite having to hold off three pursuing forces. He also simultaneously learns that the Hi Shin Unit had made its way all the way to Kantan and had begun sieging the capitol. Mou Ten's advisors begin worrying that there were forces missing that had converged upon and annihilated the Yoko Yoko Army, but Mou Ten dismisses that, certain that they were still fighting, and comes to a disconcerting conclusion. He sends orders for the entirety of his army to move out and head to Kantan as soon as possible.
At Kantan, Ri Shin hears a messenger inform him that the Kyou Kai Army had arrived. Instinctively, he senses something amiss, and turns to the right. He sees a lone rider on the plains, and his eyes widen when he sees that it is Ri Boku looking straight at him, the Great Heaven then orders a massive force forward.
