Onward is the 675th chapter of the Kingdom manga.
Synopsis
A sea of injured Qin soldiers return from the Eikyuu frontlines as Ou Hon and the Gyoku Hou Army commanders watch them. Kan Jou and Ban You are worried that taking Eikyuu is currently impossible, and they will lose a large anount of soldiers if they try.
The meeting is interrupted by arrival of Ma Ron who gives them new orders to attack Eikyuu from Great General Kan Ki. Kan Jou in response start to protest.
Ou Hon remarks that they alone don't have enough forces and suggest that if the central Kan Ki Army assisted them. Ban You adds that almost all the Qin armies sent to fight to take Eikyuu that none of them were Kan Ki's personal soldiers. While A Ka Kin doesn't find it so strange Kan Jou tells him to be quiet
Ou Hon states that Kan Ki shouldn't decide who lives and who dies. Ma Ron replies that it's not about picking and choosing, it simply that the stronger soldiers needed to kept fresh are Kan Ki's and the outsider Qin armies just happen to be weaker and so get sent to the front. Ma Ron goes to state Ou Hon is the one being picky, saying that if Ou Sen was the one that give the orders, he would drive right into battle without a hint of complaint. Ma Ron, smiling, places orders Ou Hon to capture Eikyuu as whether the Kan Ki Army can reach Heiyou or fail relies on him and the Gyoku Hou Army.
Meanwhile, the Hi Shin Unit is encamped between Ou Sen and Kan Ki armies. They start to get impatient due to the lack of action when they receive the news about Ou Hon's situation and Gyoku Hou Army start their attack. Ma Ron goes to Kan Ki and reports the status of the left wing. He then says that despite them doing a lot of progress they may find themselves in difficult situation if they lose their entire left wing and they should fall back for now. In turn, Kan Ki orders him to sends a message to central and right armies to keep on attacking. On the other side of the front Ko Chou is studying the map. He orders his army of 150,000 to head out and attack Kan Ki. In Kan Ki's HQ Ma Ron is panicking and begs his boss to fall back. However, Kan Ki simply smiles and repeats his order to keep attacking.
